Crime prevention and intervention are as important to the District Attorney as prosecution. In furtherance of this philosophy, the District Attorney’s office has established two key youth programs: Junior District Attorney and Legal Lives. Assistant District Attorneys volunteer their time in these educational initiatives as well as many others throughout the community. Through these varied efforts, ADAs are afforded an opportunity to mentor youth from elementary through post-secondary learning institutions.
