Upon election to office, District Attorney Howard engineered an impressive administrative restructuring of antiquated office operations. Mr. Howard organized the Office into several divisions and created a supervisory structure. While originally all attorneys had been designated as ‘Assistant District Attorneys’, the office was updated to add the positions of Deputy District Attorney, Chief Senior Assistant District Attorney and Senior Assistant District Attorney. Deputy District Attorneys have the primary supervisory responsibility for managing the divisions and units within the Office. The District Attorney’s Office is comprised of the following Divisions: Administration, Complaint Room, Criminal Investigations and Specialized Prosecution Units.
